Golden Hawk guard Amara Jones capped her Mid-Prairie career with a tremendous senior season, ranking among the state’s best in several categories.

Jones finished with 96 steals this season, fourth most in Class 3A. Her 81% at the free throw line was seventh best in Class 3A and her 101 assists were 10th most in the state.

The senior is one of only two players this season, joining Jordyn Stokes of top ranked Estherville-Lincoln Central, to rank in the top 10 of 3A in all three categories.

Mid-Prairie ended the season with a 16-7 overall record.
