The Columbus Wildcat boys’ basketball team leaned on senior leadership all season long, so it should be no surprise that four of those seniors end up with all-conference honors from the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North. Guard Grant Watson makes the second team after leading the Wildcats with just under 12 points, seven rebounds and two assists a game. Forward Oscar Alcala posted nearly six-and-a-half points, five rebounds and one-and-a-half steals per game on his way to an honorable mention. Versatile guard Daniel Martinez also earns honorable mention after he averaged better than 5.5 points, two assists and 2.5 steals per contest. Julian Jimenez posted better than three points and three rebounds per game and completes Columbus’ all-conference honorees by receiving an honorable mention.
