Community members and local officials gathered on Friday for the second Legislative Briefing in Washington County. State Representative Heather Hora and State Senator Dawn Driscoll began the event with an update on the projects they are working on and the committees they sit on. After this update, the crowd was able to ask a question or make a remark that would be responded to by the legislators. All in attendance were able to ask a question or make a comment to the representatives. After the briefing, attendees were invited to learn more about Halcyon House and go on a behind-the-scenes tour of their facilities. The next legislative briefing is scheduled for April 14th at the Washington County Hospital and Clinics.
