The Washington Economic Development Group workforce initiative meeting will be held Friday, March 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Washington County Hospital and Clinics in the administrative building. The purpose of WEDG is to have a holistic approach when addressing economic and community development. WEDG also strives to bring people together, identify opportunities and implement solutions. Workforce development and initiative is one of the many aspects that WEDG focuses on. Following the workforce initiative meeting, the WEDG Board meeting will follow, beginning at noon.
