Jazz will fill the auditorium at Washington High School Tuesday. The instrumental music all-school jazz concert will begin at 7 p.m. This concert is presented by students in seventh through twelfth grade. The performance is following a successful run for the Washington Middle School Jazz Band at the Southeast Iowa Bandmasters Association Jazz Festival at Clear Creek-Amana High School on March 4th. The Jazz Band placed 3rd, with seven soloist awards presented to various members. The WMS Jazz Band is directed by Craig McClenahan and the High School Jazz Band is directed by Don Hughes.
