The Washington Keokuk County Corn Growers are offering a $500 scholarship to a high school student graduating in 2023. To be eligible, the student must be a resident of Washington or Keokuk County with plans to enter an accredited program with a minimum completion time of two years. The application does require the student to explain how their choice of career will relate to the corn industry. For example, a student majoring in food sciences, environmental science, or engineering will need to relate their course of study & career choices back to the agriculture industry. The scholarship is not restricted to students majoring in an agriculture field. Applications for this scholarship are due by Monday, April 3.
