Children in the Mount Pleasant area are invited to attend the Community Easter Egg-stravaganza at Addington Place this Saturday. From 10:30-11:30 a.m. kids 12 years or under can take part in all of the festivities.

Community Relations Coordinator for Addington Place, Cody Flietner, tells KCII that the event, which brings hundreds of participants each year, continues to grow. “This is one of our two biggest events that we have for the year. We have stuffed over 2600 eggs this year which was up from 1800 from last year.”

The egg hunt begins at 11 a.m. and is divided into three age brackets: 0-3, 4-7, and 8-12. The morning also includes refreshments, prizes, face-painting, and pictures with the Easter bunny.
