The first international film festival to be held in Washington has a total of 61 independent filmmakers that have submitted films to be exhibited. The inaugural Farm to Film Fest will be held May 20-21st in Washington. Films will be shown at venues within walking distance of the downtown square. The venues include The Washington City Hall Chambers, Patricia’s Room in Dodici Shop, The Washington Public Library, Art Domestique, and the State Theater. Local film historian Michael Zahs will begin the festival with a presentation the morning of May 20th. Participants can view a diverse array of film genres throughout the weekend.
