The KCII listening area is in the path for potential severe weather Friday. According to the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities, the threat for severe storms has increased, with most of southeast Iowa now in a Moderate Risk, or level 4 out of 5, for severe storms. The main hazards include damaging, straight-line winds, tornadoes, and large hail. Tornadoes could be strong in nature.
