The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys soccer team were on the wrong end of a 6-1 score at Bob Murphy Stadium in Williamsburg Thursday night to start the new season. The Raiders jumped up early, leading 4-0 at half. Williamsburg pushed it to 5-0 after the break before Noah Ford got the Hawks on the board to trim the deficit to 5-1, the Raiders would get that goal back later in the contest. The Golden Hawk offense finished with 14 shots on goal. Mid-Prairie keeper Joe Hall made 10 saves. With the loss, the Golden Hawks are 0-1 on year and host West Liberty Monday.
