Washington State Bank has appointed Lucy Gamon to the bank’s board of directors. Gamon is a Washington, Iowa, native. Gamon is finishing her last weeks as District Court Judge for Iowa’s 8A Judicial District before stepping into this role. Judge Gamon became a district court judge in 2010. She has served as a member of the Iowa Courts Improvement Project and as a faculty member for the New Judge School. She is a member of the Eighth District Public Outreach Committee and regularly speaks to local civic groups. Judge Gamon is married with three children. Judge Gamon is taking over direction of Washington State Bank following Dave Birney’s retirement from the board after eleven years.
