After a months-long search, the City of Riverside has found their new City Administrator. Cole Smith was officially named to the position at a special meeting on Wednesday, April 5.

For the last two years, Smith has served as the Executive Director for the Louisa Development Group, which works to advance and improve the economic, social, and recreational environments of Louisa County. He replaces former City Administrator, Christine Yancey, who held the position for three years before retiring in December.

Smith plans to step down from his position with the Louisa Development Group on Friday, April 21. He will begin his role as the Riverside City Administrator on Monday, May 1.
