Residents in Kalona and the surrounding areas are advised that crews will begin hydrant flushing this week.

Fire hydrants will be flushed in Kalona from Tuesday, April 11 through Friday, April 14. Fire hydrant flushing will take place in Kalona Southtown and Richmond from Tuesday, April 18 through Friday, April 21. Work for each of these days is expected to start at 6 a.m. and end around 4 p.m.
