The Sigourney Savage boys’ golf team finished second at a South Iowa Cedar League triangular with English Valleys and HLV Monday at Knoll Ridge Country Club in North English. Sigourney’s team score of 181 strokes was 15 behind winner English Valleys. Savage senior Clay Morse had the team’s top individual round, shooting a six-over-par 42 to finish third overall.

Sophomore Cain Weber was one stroke behind at 43, while classmate Issac Bruns finished sixth with a 46. Junior Brock Alderson and freshman Solon Yates both shot 50, and Savages freshman Josh Wyatt fired a 52. Sigourney returns to their home golf course tomorrow.
