The Hillcrest Academy boys golf team outshot New London on their home course Friday for a Southeast Iowa Superconference dual win. The Ravens took the match over the Tigers 185-190. Medal honors were a family affair for Hillcrest with Luke and Liam Schrock firing matching 44s. Both Schrocks joined KCII Sports after the meet to talk about the round and the team win. Luke Schrock said, “I had a couple of pretty good shots. Chips that gave me a tap in for par. You can make up a bad shot there. (The win) feels really good, maybe we didn’t shoot quite as good as we came in hoping but, when you walk out with a win it makes up for it!”

Liam Schrock added, “I had four pars and that will bring your score down quite a bit.”

Other scores for the Ravens included Rowan Miller 47, Josiah Beachy 50, Jace Rempel 51 and Seth Ours 56. Hillcrest will next be on the course Thursday against Louisa-Muscatine.
