The Washington City Council approved upcoming special events at their last meeting. Some of the events include the Washington Public Library Summer Reading Program, the 2023 Farmers Market, the Marion Avenue Baptist Church Out Time Youth Conference, and the Washington Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Flighline Live. The Chamber of Commerce also asked for the 2024 and 2025 special event dates to be approved while stating that they will still attend Council meetings closer to the events to seek official approval.
