The Washington Demon girls’ soccer team suffered a setback in conference play Thursday night with a 2-0 loss at Burlington. Despite freshman goalkeeper Aleigha Medley putting up a strong effort with nine saves, Washington yielded a goal in each half. The Demons fall to 3-2 in the Southeast Conference and 6-2 overall. Washington looks for a rebound when they travel to Mount Pleasant later tonight.
