The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys and girls soccer teams traveled to Anamosa Friday night. The Golden Hawk boys came back with a dominant 5-1 win. The Hawks led the contest 2-1 at half and pitched a shut out defensively after the break, posting three more goals of their own. Owen Trimpe was unstoppable on the evening, recording the hat trick plus one with four goals and adding an assist. Tucker Miller also found the back of the net and had a pair of assists. Drake Price and Daniel Rodgers each recorded a helper. Joe Hall and Jacob Flynn each had one save in goal. The victory moves the Golden Hawks to 4-4 on the year and drops Anamosa to 1-5.

The Mid-Prairie girls lost a high scoring affair 5-4 Friday. The game was even at three at the half and remained tied at four after each team tallied again in the second. The Blue Raiders scored the winner in the final minute of regulation. With the loss, the Hawks fall to 5-3 this year, Anamosa is 5-1.
