The City of Ainsworth is under a boil order until further notice. Emergency repairs were required after the Ainsworth Water Supply Well was struck by lightning.

Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, and food preparation while the order is in effect. Boiling water for at least one minute kills any bacteria or other organisms in the water. Tap water may still be used for bathing and other similar purposes.
