A pair of KCII area boys golf teams are set for their next 18-hole invitational Tuesday with a trip to West Liberty. The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks were a road winner Monday over Wilton in a River Valley Conference dual by a 178-206 score. Drew Schlabaugh and Clayton Davidson each shot 43 to sweep the medals. On the season, Mid-Prairie has a team average of 357 for 18-holes with Schlabaugh the top individual average at 89. Mid-Prairie is 15-9 this year.

Winfield-Mt. Union was also a Monday winner 196-208 over Highland at Blue Top Ridge in Riverside. Carter Loyd had the low day for the Wolves in the win with a 42. Other scores included Grant Anderson 50, Andrew Brown and Jake Edwards 52, Max Edwards 56 and Nicholas Sparrow 57. WMU has an 11-5 record this season and a 374 average per 18-holes led by Loyd at 88.

These teams will also match up with Dyersville-Beckman, Camanche, Clear Creek Amana, Durant, Iowa City Regina, Tipton, Wapello, West Branch, Wilton and the home Comets. Action starts at noon and continues this afternoon and evening in West Liberty.
