A pair of KCII area boys golf teams will be part of triangular Tuesday at Knoll Ridge in North English when the Hillcrest Academy Ravens and Keota Eagles visit the English Valleys Bears. Hillcrest is 5-0 after a 169-187 win on Monday in Kalona over Wapello, with Luke and Liam Schrock both carding 41s to sweep medal honors. On the year, the Ravens have a 177 average per nine holes with Luke Schrock’s 42 best on the team.

Keota is off to a stellar start at 8-1 this season after a 170-199 dual win over Belle Plaine on the road a week ago. Cole Kindred and Sawyer Stout both fired 40s to lead the Eagles. For the season, Keota has a team average of 172 per nine holes, led by Kindred at 41.

English Valleys is 9-3. They were a 189-206 winner Thursday over Colfax-Mingo at home. The Bears average 176 per nine holes with top individual Eli Marsh at 37 per nine. Keota won this event last year in Kalona with a 180, Hillcrest shot 207 and EV 220. Marsh was medalist with a 36 and Sawyer Stout medalist runner-up with a 42. Action starts today at 4:15.
