The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls soccer team grabbed their second win of the week Tuesday, rolling to a 7-0 road win at Wapello. Mid-Prairie led 5-0 at half and added two more goals after intermission. The Golden Hawks amassed an amazing 37 shots on goal with 12 corner kicks while dominating possession. Lydia Beachy and Elise Gingerich each scored twice. Kina Miller, Paityn Jennings and Zoey Curtiss also had one goal each. Gingerich and Beachy each had an assist. Miller and Evangeline Marner combined for the clean sheet, the Hawks fifth shut out win of the year. The Golden Hawks are now 7-3 this year as Wapello remains winless. The Hawks are back home Friday against Maquoketa.
