The Hillcrest Academy girls track team showed their prowess on the oval Monday at the Burlington Coed JV Invitational. Hillcrest scored 64 points to finish fourth in the team standings. The Ravens won five event championships on the night. Rya Scott was the long jump champ clearing 14′ 11.5″. Malia Yoder won high jump, getting over the bar at 4’6″. The Ravens swept the 4×100, 4×200 and sprint medley titles with the team of Scott, Yoder, Erin Bontrager and Delaney Shaw posting times of 57.04 seconds, 2:02.65 and 2:00.82 respectively. Other top finishes included Shaw runner-up in the 3000 at 15:33.78 and Bontrager third in the 100 at 15.28 seconds. The Ravens are next in action Thursday at the Eckstrand Relays at WACO.
