A new endowment fund, named in honor of Herb and Betty Osincup, a Washington couple, has been created and established with the Community Foundation of Washington County. Herb and Betty Osincup are long-time Washington residents who owned and operated the Osincup Drug Store on the west side of Washington’s Square for nearly 40 years. They were both very active in the community, participating in community theater productions, and they were well known for their enthusiastic participation in Washington’s Ridiculous Day with their costumes and floats. The “Herb and Betty Jensen Osincup Legacy Fund” will be used to support the work of the pharmacy at the Washington County Hospital and Clinics in Washington. The WCHC has served Washington County for over 100 years and continues to offer new services, programming, and new equipment to meet the needs of the people they serve.
