The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk girls golf team will get one more event in before the close of the regular season when they travel to West Liberty Tuesday for a nine-hole quadrangular. The Golden Hawks are 24-6 this season after a dual win over Durant in Kalona Monday. Mid-Prairie is currently ranked No. 5 in Class 2A according to the latest poll from the Iowa High School Golf Coaches Association. All six of the Hawk’s varsity players are ranked in the top 60 in the state individually, led by Gabi Robertson at No. 22, Madi Davidson 34th, Alexa Huber 42nd, Addison English 48th, Kylie Reinier 54th and Elliot Debler 58th. Mid-Prairie is also this year’s River Valley Conference team champs, placing all six varsity players on All-Conference teams last week in Muscatine. The Hawks have a 197 team average per nine, led by Robertson’s 47.

Joining Mid-Prairie today are No. 25 West Liberty, West Branch and Wilton. Action starts at 3p.m. and continues into the evening at West Liberty.
