The Washington County Board of Supervisors approved the secondary road use request form from the American Legion Post 29 at their meeting Tuesday. Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer had this to say about the event. “This is an annual event that they hold out on the bridge on old 92 on  Memorial Day, and so this is just one more in that history and one of many more to come, I hope.” The Memorial Day observance will take place on May 29th; if there is rain that day, the event will be held in the Washington High School gym.
