This is a monumental week for the WACO seniors, culminating with graduation this Saturday.

The Warriors, who wrapped up classes last Thursday, will be honored for their efforts today at 6 p.m. with Senior Awards Night. Baccalaureate will be held tomorrow night at 7 in the gymnasium, and the Senior Breakfast and graduation walk-through begin on Friday at 8 a.m.

It all leads up to graduation on Saturday. The ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. at the football field. Performances from both the choir and band will be featured, along with several important speakers.

Seniors Hannah Dennis and Avery Waterhouse were voted to speak at graduation by their classmates. Ray Wise, who is being inducted into WACO Wall of Fame will speak as well, and this year’s keynote speaker is WACO English teacher, Rob Shaw.

After diplomas have been received, the evening ends with a firework show, provided by the senior class parents. In the event of rain, WACO’s graduation ceremony will be moved to the gymnasium.
