On Sunday, May 21, seniors at Keota High School will see four years of hard work come to fruition with their graduation ceremony. The event begins at 1:30 p.m. in the High School Gymnasium.

Before students get their diplomas, the choir will perform, singing “Gone, Gone, Gone” and “Maybe Someday We’ll Meet Again”. The audience will also hear from senior speaker, Nicole Clarahan.

The class colors for the Keota Class of 2023 are purple and silver. Their flower is the white rose tipped in purple, and the class song is “Remember You Young” by Thomas Rhett. This year’s class motto was selected from the film, Joe Dirt, and reads “You gotta keep on keepin’ on. Life’s a garden: dig it. You gotta make it work for you.”
