The Washington County Riverboat Foundation announced at their Spring Grant Awards Tuesday. The Washington County Historical Society is the recipient of a $27,000 grant. KCII spoke with Mary Levi with the Washington County Historical Society about what those funds will be used for. “We have numerous restoration projects going on currently, and the largest one is the new dining room, flooring, walls, and new color schemes to go with the style and period of the historic museum.” The Washington County Riverboat Foundation is the nonprofit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, which provides the entirety of its funding.
