Last week, the Riverside City Council approved multiple bids for the repairs and assessments at the city’s water plants. 

The bids, totaling just under $30,000 includes one from Electric Pump in Des Moines for $10,236. The money will be used to repair a Flygt pump. An $8,139 bid to Hach, an equipment supplier in Loveland, Colorado will go towards chlorine and PH panel repairs. Additionally, a bid for an assessment of the plant was approved in the amount of $9,150. The city will be using Harn R/O Systems of Venice, Florida for the inspection and assessment. 

The construction projects at the Riverside wastewater and water treatment plants are currently underway.
