In recognition of Memorial Day, the Winfield American Legion Post #643 will be holding services on Monday, May 29.

Services begin at 10 a.m. at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church at 302 South Locust Street. Those who attend will hear from guest speaker, Master Sergeant (RET) Mark Peck. Stephanie White will follow with a reading of the Honored Fallen.

After the service, a salute to the Fallen Veterans will be held at the Winfield Scott Township Cemetery.
