Summer Meals for Kids & Teens will be served at Lincoln Elementary School – 606 S 4th Ave., in Washington, from June 5th through August 4th, from 11:00AM-1:00PM. There is no enrollment and no cost for this service, it is open to all children ages eighteen and under.The USDA works closely with states to ensure that children who receive free or reduced-price school meals can get the nutrition they need when schools are closed – whether during summer break or unexpected closures during the school year. Through USDA’s summer meal programs, approved sites in communities across the country can serve meals to kids up to age 18 at no cost.
