The Washington County Fair Association has received a $29,028 grant from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation. The Fair Association will use this grant to purchase a brand new sign to place at the entrance to the fairgrounds on HWY 1. Stephanie Sexton, President of the WCRF Board, made the announcement, “Washington County Fair, we got the fair coming up the third week of July. So $29,028.” This sign will be one of the first things you see in Washington when you are arriving from the South. The Washington County Riverboat Foundation is the nonprofit license holder for the Riverside Casino & Golf Resort, which provides the entirety of its funding.
