Despite scattered rainfall over the weekend, several portions of southeast Iowa are still seeing moderate drought conditions.
The largest increase came from Louisa County. With just 7.49% of the county experiencing moderate drought conditions in the previous report, the number has grown to 53.11% as of last week. Keokuk County, and Henry County saw slight jumps to 69.99% and 3.86% respectively. Washington County stayed consistent, with the southwest corner of the county remaining the only 5% experiencing moderate drought conditions. Jefferson County experienced just a slight drop, still with 67.18% of the land in a moderate drought.
