The Lone Tree Lions fell victim to a pair of road losses on the diamond Thursday at Louisa-Muscatine. Lone Tree softball put up a strong offensive showing but was outslugged by Louisa-Muscatine 19-9, while Lion baseball didn’t score until the fourth inning and fell 9-2 to the Falcons. Lone Tree dropped to 4-5 in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North and 7-10 overall in softball. The Lions fell to 1-6 in conference play and 1-11 in total in baseball.
