The Washington City Council will meet this evening at 6 pm. On the agenda are mayoral appointments to various committees, discussion setting salaries for appointed officers and employees of the City of Washington for the fiscal year 2023-2024, and a public hearing on the proposed Washington East Commercial Urban Renewal Plan. Also on the agenda is a closed session to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose discharge is being considered when necessary to prevent irreparable injury to that individual, and that individual requests a closed session. The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers in Washington City Hall.
