Sinclair Tractor has been serving southeast Iowa communities for the last 25 years. To celebrate this milestone, they are holding a private party and fundraiser to support local food banks.
Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, the 25th anniversary celebration will be held at the Midwest Old Threshers in Mt. Pleasant. Between 8 and 10,000 Sinclair Tractor customers, employees, and business partners will be in attendance, including CEO of Food Bank of Iowa, Michelle Book, and Iowa Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig. While the day is set to include live music, carnival rides, food, and other festivities, there will also be several opportunities for individuals and businesses to donate to a good cause.
Sinclair Tractor has set a goal to raise $1 million for the food banks in Southeast Iowa, Northeast Missouri, and Western Illinois, which together provide food to over 350 local pantries. The anniversary celebration is free to its invited guests, however donations will be accepted throughout the event. All proceeds from the merchandise tent will go towards food banks.
Sinclair Tractor was formed in 1998 as Sigourney Tractor & Implement. Today, they have grown to more than 15 locations. Thanks to the help of business partners, they are well on their way to reaching their fundraising goal.
