Musician Mike Anderson will be performing in the band shell on Friday at 10 am, hosted by the Washington Public Library. Anderson received a National Children’s Television award for his show “Mike’s Music Works.” He plays guitar, banjo, jaw harp, nose flute, bones, and more. He is best known as an outstanding mountain dulcimer player – one of the best in the Midwest. As an author and elementary school teacher, Mike has honed his skills as a storyteller and is one of the best yarn spinners and worst pun-tellers anywhere. The rain location for this event is the Library meeting rooms. This event is free and open to the public.
