Today, the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center kicks off their third annual Free Summer Outdoor Concert Series. Area residents and music lovers alike can enjoy some of the best Iowa bands every other Thursday night at 7:30 p.m.

Tonight’s performance features Jonas Magram Jazz. Executive Director for the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center, Lindsay Bauer tells KCII what audiences can expect. “They cover American jazz standards. It is the classiest night you can imagine out on the street. When Jonas sings he sounds like Frank Sinatra, and they are bringing the king of class to us this Thursday night.”

Guests who attend are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs to these concerts, which will be held at 200 North Main Street in Fairfield. There will be a beer garden available, and all are encouraged to visit any of the several restaurants within walking distance of the Convention Center.
