The West Chester Lions Club is hosting its 6th Annual Ice Cream Social Thursday, July 6th, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the West Chester School building. The menu includes homemade ice cream, strawberries, other desserts, and a beverage. This event began just a year after the club formed in 1958. The ice cream social is accepting a free-will donation, which will go to various causes for the club. The West Chester Lions Club gives back to the community by contributing to glasses and hearing aids for the youth and elderly. They also help fund scholarships, West Chester Heritage Association projects, and state programs.
