Two seniors had tremendous final seasons on the softball diamond for the Winfield-Mount Union Wolves, and Anna Anderson and Keely Malone can add all-conference selections to their resumes after finishing up excellent careers in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.

Anderson missed time with injury early this season and still makes the first team in the Super Conference North. The senior catcher had a .533 batting average, the third-best in the conference. Anderson finished 2023 with a team-high 24 hits, including six doubles, a home run, 15 runs scored and 14 runs batted in.

Malone was just as good on her way to an honorable mention. The outfielder and third baseman hit .392 and had a team-high 21 RBI, swatting four doubles and a homer and picking up nine stolen bases.
