The Washington County Board of Supervisors voted on and approved a memorandum of understanding regarding reimbursement from the Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa for county employees, occupancy, and equipment at their most recent meeting. The Washington County Mental Health and Disability Services Coordinator, Bobbie Wulf, gave more information. “We have completed memorandums of understanding for all thirteen counties involved in the 28 E. The governing board for the agency has already approved all the salaries for the individuals and has also approved these memorandums of understanding, which also includes occupancy costs and any other costs that may be associated with the offices. Regions can reimburse the counties to prevent the county from incurring any cost associated with the Mental Health and Disability Services, as the state is now solely funding our system.” The agreement with the Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa had been previously approved by the board.
