The City of Keota Announced last week that they plan to upgrade the technology and software at City Hall. To do this, the offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 25, as well as the morning of Wednesday, July 26.

Currently, the City uses Banyon Software. Once new PC’s are installed, the plan is to transition to gWorks within the next 4-6 weeks. Not only will this allow for more flexibility in the City Office, but residents will be able to perform functions like paying their city bills more efficiently.

This new software is expected to be integrated by early fall. Keota City Hall will reopen at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 26. In other government matters, the Keota City Council Meeting normally held on the third Monday of the month has been rescheduled for July 24.
