Despite having just one win this summer, there were plenty of standouts this season for the Lone Tree Lion baseball team, as evidenced by their four all-league selections in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference.

Catcher Matthew Hemstead represents Lone Tree on the first team as a unanimous selection in the Super Conference North. The senior led the team with a .370 batting average and 20 hits while also hitting the Lions’ only home run of the season and posting a .971 fielding percentage with only three defensive errors behind the plate.

Sophomore outfielder Maddox Jondle makes the second team after hitting .308 with team highs of 18 runs batted in and 10 stolen bases. Freshman Emmett Burke is an honorable mention after batting .302 and hitting three triples, while sophomore pitcher Jack Patterson also earns honorable-mention status for racking up 26 strikeouts in 29 innings on the mound.
