The 26th Annual Brinton Film Festival and Ice Cream Social will take place tonight and tomorrow night at the Ainsworth Opera House. There will be a showing of Brinton Silent Movies with narrations done by Michael Zahs. Mr. Zahs shares his thoughts on the festival, “I encourage people to come. It starts at 7. Ice cream, cookies, and then the Magic Lantern slides with sound from that period of time and movies. And there are some people that say, “I’ve been to the festival”, I have one hundred and forty movies; I don’t show all one hundred and forty.”  New films this year will even have some of the original sound recordings played. The doors will open at 7 pm and admission is a free-will donation with all proceeds going to support the Ainsworth Opera House.
