At the Washington County Board of Supervisors meeting last week, Supervisor Jack Seward Jr. gave an update on the Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa’s newest service for the region, “The Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa is rolling out a new service, mobile crisis response. It’s contracted through the Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa. We’ve got a few brochures out now. It’s part of the things that we are continuing to roll out in the mental health field.”  Elevate Mobile Crisis Response team will run 24/7/365 days a year. They offer on-site and in-person assistance to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. They provide services at homes or any other location. Two responders will arrive within an hour of dispatch by the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. This service is funded by the Mental Health Agency of Southeast Iowa Region.
