Clover Kids is a positive youth development program for kindergarten-third-grade youth connected to Washington County 4-H. Clubs meet traditionally once a month for an hour exploring in a hands-on way a variety of topics including science, art, outdoors, team building and more. Clover Kid members are able to participate in the Washington County Fair special events as well. The Washington County 4-H program is currently looking for caring adults to serve as volunteers for the Brighton Lucky Clovers and the St. James Clover Kids. There is flexibility on the club meeting dates and times based on the volunteer. Leaders are provided professional development training and support through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and other clover kid leaders of Washington County.  Contact Amy Green at the Washington County Extension Office for more information on this volunteer position at 319-653-4811.
