One hundred and four women competed in this year’s Iowa State Fair Queen competition on Saturday, August 12th. The finalists include the Personality Plus Award going to Molly Chapman of Cedar County. The Outstanding Leadership Award going to Maria McGowan of Woodbury County. The third Runner Up is Washington’s own Taylor Bartholomew. Second  Runner Up is Lillian Howe of Fremont County. First Runner Up is Kylie Langley of Muscatine County, and the 2023 Iowa State Fair Queen is Kalayna Durr of Henry County.
