A funeral service for 57-year-old Jerry J. Short of Wayland will be held Tuesday, August 22nd at 10:30a.m. at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. Burial will follow at North Hill Cemetery north of Wayland. Family will greet friends from 4-7p.m. Monday, August 21st at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington. A memorial fund has been established for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention.
