The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities has issued an excessive heat warning for the entire KCII listening area through 8 p.m. Thursday, August 24th. Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 113 are possible. Henry, Jefferson, and Louisa counties will continue to feel the heat through the end of the work week, as the excessive heat warning has been extended through Friday evening. The high temperature for Friday is forecasted to be around 90’ with heat indexes up to 113. The low Friday will be around 68.
